My note card confession Video
This week, we are doing a project called Note Card Confession. If you don't know about it, you can watch my video to have a general idea. Basically it is people telling stories by displaying their hand-written note cards. I think this is a very powerful way to express oneself. Because the person is actually not talking out loud, and the audiences can see their hand writing, which is very touching. How I made my video? Firstly, I decided what my topic would be, and then prepared all the note cards. Then I used my iPad to record. I was using the front camera of mi iPad so I can make sure my notecards could be seen in the screen. Then, I tried to read the notecards by myself and flipped the cards after I finished reading. After that, I used an app called YouTube Capture to add music to the video and uploaded it to YouTube. There are actually a lot of videos on YouTube and people are talking about all the different things that they experienced, such as bullying etc. This is really easy and I think everyone is capable to try this out! |
As teachers, we can assign students to make a note Card confession as an assessment . The students can talk about themselves or to narrate what the have learned from the lesson. This will not only improve the students' hands-on skills, but will also increase students' interest.
