iMovie Trailer -- Amazing sPanish
Last week, I read two iBooks recommended by Profesor Kuhn about how to use iMovie. And this week, I made my first iMovie Tailer -- Amazing Spanish. It was a fun process making this and I got a chance to apply what I have read into practice, which is amazing.

Let's talk about how I made it!
Firstly, to start, go to projects, and then click the "+" button. Then you will have your new project. And after doing this, you will encounter several models.
iMovie is actually very easy to use if you use these models that they provide. If you use the models, they basically include music, and they have already edit the whole trailer for you. So all you need to do is to replace all the texts and images to whatever you want. This is exactly how I did it. I chose the model called "indie", which is approximately one minute.
Apart from this, Professor Kuhn recommended us to use Haiku Desk to edit texts and images. Haiku Desk is actually an awesome application that you can use to make presentation. And I think the most awesome part of it is that you can find a lot of great pictures there, which you might not even be able to find in Google! In Haiku Desk, on each slide, you can add text and image easily. You can search the image by key word and you will see tons of them. If you have already watched my trailer, you will find out that I used Haiku Desk a lot.
It worth mentioning that when using iMovie, you have to prepare all your videos and images in your photo gallery, or you will not be able to add anything.
After I finished my project, I had to export the video to my photo gallery. And then, I used the application call "YouTube Capture" to upload my video to my YouTube channel. This app will make it easier for you to upload your video to YouTube. What's more, you can actually take videos and edite them right on the Capture app too! Isn't it supercomvinient?
When it comes to how would I utilize iMovie in my classroom for my student, you can actually tell if you have watched my video. My centenar area is Spanish, so I made this video to emphasize how learning Spanish will benifit us. I believe that if I play this video in the class, I will at least make some of my students interst in learning Spanish! This is like a hook to my future students. Apart from this, I can actually assign my student to make an iMovie trailer too. They will not only learn a new application and improve their technology aweness, but also will learn how to cooperate with others ( if I make it a group project). They will know that they need to have a plan before doing something, and also they will need to learn how to pay attention to detail. Last but not least, it will improve their art senses too. Anyway, I think as teachers, we can really think of lots of different way to utilize iMovie to benefit our future students and as well as meet the education standards.
I was enjoying making this trailer! And I actually watched it no less than ten times after I made it!
Maybe you can have a try too!
