aDOBE SPARK PAGE -- easy PRESENTATION TOOL
This week, I learned how to use Adobe Spark Page to create a presentation.
Adobe Spark is a free online and mobile graphic design app. It is free for download, or you can use it directly from their website. To visit their website, click the button below: This app is very easy to use. The design and the operation of this app are very simple. You can use it to make a presentation or write your own story. I made a Spark Page, which is like a page that includes all the information that I want to present. You can also make Spark Post and Spark Video through the app as well. Also, you can pay a little bit money to upgrade your storage if you are using this app very often. I think the money would be worth it because I think this app is very convenient for people who want to design a page really quickly. I think this app is great for those who love visual stuff because you can add lots of awesome pictures along with your presentation. Also, there is a button called "photo grid", where you can add multiple pictures at once and it will show as a grid. You can also create a glideshow, which will give you a beautiful way to tell your story by choosing photos, adding text, blockquotes and images etc. In addition, you can add videos as well, just simply copy the share link of any Youtube video you want and then paste it in the box that jumps out when you click the video button. There are several themes that you can choose for your topic too. All the designs are very simple and neat, which is totally my style.

For me, I designed a page to introduce a Spanish Culture related topic -- Chacmool, a pre-columbian sculpture. I think I can use this page in my classroom very easily. As a future language teacher, I would like to introduce a lot of cultures to my students. And as the students learning the Spanish Culture, they can also improve their Spanish too. For example, on my page, I introduced the background information of Chacmool first, and then I provided a lot of Spanish videos that are related to Chacmool. I always assign the students tasks as they watch the video, for example, ask them to write down the new vocabularies and as well as write a summary after watching the video. Knowing cultures is very fun, and I think my future students would like my teaching style -- lots of cultures while learning language.

Lastly but not least, if you are going to use Spark Page, I suggest you to sign up a new account and avoid using your facebook account for this. Because I used my facebook account first, and when I tried to publish my page, I had a hard time. Therefore, I think it would be safer to create a new account for this.
I highly encourage you to have a try on this easy app! |
