technology makes class more colorful: using Canva for poster design
This week, I learned a new app -- Canva. It is a free application for designing poster. Some of the images in the app might need money to purchase, but most of the models can be used freely. It is very convenient and fun. Those models are very good-looking and you can basically design every possible topic for the class.
For me, I designed a poster about protecting endangered animals. I think it is very meaningful, because more and more animals are in danger because of the terrible damage that human being did to the environment. It is crucial to educate our next generation about this issue and the seriousness of it. Our profesor also created a Padlet site for us to upload our poster. The rapid development of technology nowadays definitely has a big influence in the classroom and education. As a teacher, it is very important that we keep learning throughout our whole life, not only our content area, but also the lastest technology and apply it to our classroom to make our teaching more fun, more efficient and more modern .
